The 1st Annual Race for Milwaukie Daze is a benefit to support the funding for the Milwaukie Daze Festival.  The Race for Milwaukie Daze is a non-timed, non-competitive 5K run/walk for the entire family. 

A pancake breakfast will be served starting at 9:00 at the Odd Fellows Building at 10300 SE Main Street in Milwaukie for all participants after the race. The breakfast and run are sponsored by Bob's Red Mill.

Where : ODS Building @ 10505 S.E. 17th Ave. Milwaukie, Oregon

5K Walk-Run    Time : 8:30 AM 

There will be a staggered start. The runners will go first, then the walkers. Participants will enter the pathway in waves in order to reduce congestion on the pathway.

Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
Please no pets, bikes, or rollerblades.

The Route:

The Race for Milwaukie Daze 5-K Run/Walk will start and end at the ODS Building located 10505 SE 17th Avenue.  Participants will start by heading north out of the ODS site onto 17th Avenue to Milport Street (The southbound lane of 17th Avenue will be closed to accommodate participants.)  Participants will turn around at Milport and head back along 17th Ave continuing on the sidewalk south through Riverfront Park.  Participants will travel south along the scenic riverfront (behind the Kellogg Treatment Plant) onto 19th Avenue.  Participants will continue on 19th Avenue and take a left at Sparrow Street/Spring Park.  Participants turn left at Bobwhite back to 19th Avenue then right on 19th Avenue headed back south to ODS the same way they came.  Flaggers and cones will be placed at key intersections for way-finding.  Water stops will be provided at ODS and Spring Park.
